The Tundra Bar near the Flag Market has proved popular
The festive spirit is being kept alive for a little bit longer in the city centre as the Tunda Bar returns.
The bar, opened by the New Continental on South Meadow Lane, in the run-up to Christmas has proved so popular its owners have decided to extend its run.
A statement from the New Continental group says “The Continental’s pop-up ‘Tundra Bar’ in Preston’s city centre enjoyed such a positive response over the Christmas period that they’re keeping it open for a further two weeks in January.”
The bar serves craft beers, mulled wine, ciders and a hot Vimto.
Entry to the Tundra Bar is free and it re-opened on Friday 4 January and will open until Sunday 13 January apart from on Monday 7 January. It’s open from 12noon each day.
It is just off the Flag Market on Harris Street.
