St. Catherine’s Annual Carol Service will take place at Preston St John’s Minster Sunday 9 December 2012.
The carol service this year is open to those with a connection with the St. Catherine’s Hospice. In particular those who have had a loved one die at the Hospice during the past year.
Christmas can be a poignant time for those who have suffered bereavement and this is an opportunity for us to remember.
The service will be traditional lessons and carols and will be themed ‘Then and Now’. The aim is to reflect on timeless themes in life, provide an opportunity to reflect on the lives of those who are no longer with us and to ponder some of the deeper truths of life that Christmas invites us to consider.
St Catherine’s Hospice is a much loved local charity providing high quality specialised care for people living with medical conditions that can be treated but cannot be cured.
As your local charity St Catherine’s relies on local generosity and their fantastic volunteers who make every pound go further. Unlike some charities you can visit them to see how your support is used to provide exceptional care for your neighbours, local friends and relatives.
