Award winning Saddleworth Cheese Company is fronted by once Coronation Street regular Sean Wilson, who played Martin Platt and he will be in Preston once again to talk about the cheese company, his new television show and also sign copies of his new book.
Sean is now a cheese-maker extraordinaire and has become a hugely knowledgeable enthusiast for regional food.
He has a new television cookery on Channel 5 called The Great Northern Cookbook which follows him on a gastronomic tour around the towns of northern England.
Exploring the food heritage of each town, Sean takes on a series of challenges which will be judged by the local people.
Sean will be at The Museum of Lancashire on 27 January to host a special talk and launch the accompanying book, ‘The Great Northern Cookbook’. In addition to hearing Sean talk, a range of local food producers will be displaying their wares and Sean will sign and personalise books. Should be a great event.
Sean currently has a cheese stall at the Manchester Christmas Markets. Go and say hello.
