A project capturing Preston on film will have its first public showing at the city Christmas Lights switch on.
The Preston Motion Picture Project has been running for over a year and is the work of over 40 filmmakers and volunteers.
Matt Stanton, the man behind the project, said: “The finished feature celebrates many aspects that make people proud of Preston; the landscapes, traditions, public events and people. This film is particularly special as it was made in celebration of the Preston Guild 2012.”
The film will be shown at 3pm on the Flag Market to signal the start of the Christmas Lights switch on.
You can watch a trailer for the film below and find out more about the project on the website.
