Preston Cityscape at Avenham Park

Here are a few shots of the ‘Preston Cityscape’ which is currently being displayed at Avenham Park Pavilion.

Created by council gardener Tony Lewis, the Preston cityscape is a scaled down replica of the city centre which was constructed as part of the city’s 2012 Guild celebrations.

The Harris Museum, the Town Hall, St. John’s Minster and the Guildhall are all featured, and it can be seen at the Pavilion until the end of November. There’s even is a quiz with a prize draw, for those that can name all the buildings!
