Looking for 2013 Firework displays and Bonfire night listings?

It’s almost the time of year again to remember, remember the 5th of November and celebrate Guy Fawkes Night with things that go ‘bang’. This year the bonfire season starts a little earlier on 3rd November with many bonfires lit on the Saturday night.

Around Preston there will be many professional organised displays taking place. Grouped together here are the ones taking place in and around Preston. If there any we have missed let us know.

Saturday 3 November

Walton-le-Dale

Charity Bonfire at the recreation ground on Higher Walton Road in Walton-le-Dale. Gates open at 6pm. Bonfire lit 6.30pm. Fireworks 7.30pm. Tickets: £3 adults and £1 for children

Garstang

Garstang Bonfire and Firework Display. Bonfire lit at 7pm, fireworks at 7.30pm.
Tickets: £3 with under fives being admitted for free. Refreshments will be available. A new feature is planned for this year – a Guy Fawkes competition. Open to school children and there will be prizes given for the best three entries

Longton

Longton Community Bonfire and Fireworks Display. Victory Memorial Park. Bonfire lit 6:30pm with fireworks from 7pm. Free entry

Monday 5 November

Preston

Preston Grasshoppers RFC bonfire and fireworks night. Gates open at 6.30pm, bonfire lit 7pm, fireworks 8pm. As well as the bonfire and fireworks there is a fun fair, disco, amusements and much more. Tickets: In advance Single: £4 Family: £12 At the gate: Single: £5 Family: £15

Penwortham Fireworks Display. Pear Tree Park, Middleforth Green, Penwortham, Preston Free entry (collection on the night)

Leyland

Leyland Round Table Annual Bonfire and Fireworks Display, Worden Park , Leyland
Tickets £3 before the event. £5 on the night. Available from shops in Leyland. See www,leylandroundtable.co.uk
