A recent post on the photography site Flickr from talented artist Caroline Johnson grabbed my attention. That’s it, there, above these words.
It’s more of an artwork than a photo. A sketch on a bus on the way to Preston. Annotated with an overheard lancastrian conversation, and with what looks like the bus ticket included for authenticity. It is simply a delight.
Caroline studied at the Harris Art School in Preston then moved to London to take a Diploma in Art and Design from the Central College of Art, studying under such illustrious names as Cecil Collins, Colin Cina and Paul Huxley.
