Volunteer footage needed for Preston Motion Picture Project

A project aimed at capturing Preston on video is inviting members of the public to submit their own clips.

The Preston Motion Picture Project is hosting an event at The Continental on Thursday 16 August for anyone interested in contributing.

The event, billed as the Have a Go Picture Show, will see anyone who has shot any footage of Preston in 2012 invited down to show it off.

Matt Stanton, founder of the project, said: “It doesn’t matter if you use an expensive camera or just your phone, bring along your footage on a memory stick, SD card or your phone.

“It could be footage of anything, events, hobbies, a night out.”

The event takes place from 7pm to 10pm.
