A Lancashire photographer has been out on the streets of Preston taking candid snapshots of city life before the Guild.

Benjamin D Green snapped the photos during a walk around the city centre.

It shows welcomes and goodbyes at the train station, shoppers on the hunt for a bargain and the colourful character above busting out a tune for Prestonians.

You can view the full set of photos on Benjamin’s blog and you can follow him on Twitter here.
