Taking inspiration from the pretty village of Goosnargh comes this week’s entry into the Guild photo competition.
Melanie Whiteside snapped some of the sights to piece together a jigaw G of rural Lancashire life.
The winning entry to the competition will take home an iPhone 3 and the photo must include one of the five Guild themes, international, green, people, business or creativity.
To enter you need to take your photo and then upload it to the Guild Scrolls website.
Click on post your scoll, enter your location, type your details, add your message and then upload your ‘G’.
Rachel Daly, from the Guild team, said: “We’re very enthusiastic about promoting the competition as widely as possible and feel it will generate a real buzz in the lead up to Guild week a unique, once every 20 year event celebrated by the whole city.”
Deadline for all entries is Friday 14 September at 3pm.
The winner will be presented with their iPad by the Guild mayor.
Anyone can enter, there is no restriction on age or location.
