Police release CCTV snap of two clubbers after bag theft

These are two revellers police would like to speak to after a bag was snatched in a Preston nightclub.

The man and woman pictured were seen carrying the bag while walking out of Rumes on Church Street.

The incident took place between 3am and 4am on Thursday 12 July.

The bag was left on a table and contained cash, bank cards and a mobile phone.

Pc Mohamed Badat, of Preston Police, said: “We are urging anyone who recognises these two people or witnessed the incident to contact us as soon as possible as their information could greatly assist this enquiry.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Lancashire police on 101. They can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or on-line at Crimestoppers-uk.org.

No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
