A trader sells fresh bread to a customer

The smell of fresh bread, smoked fish and traditional Lancashire pies wafted down Friargate today as the Lancashire Market returned.

Organised by the Preston Business Improvement District a host of different stalls and traders filled the road to sell their wares.

Tony Worrall snapped some great photos of the market in action, but be warned if you haven’t eaten this will make you feel very hungry.
