A month long celebration of Preston’s food will take place in August and we’ve got a chance to be right at the centre of the action.

Top TV chef Gino D’Acampo (pictured left) will be at the Guild Hall on Saturday 18th August as part of the Love Food, Love Preston festival.

We’re teaming up with Preston’s Business Improvement District (BID) who are organising the event to offer you and a friend the chance to be there.

Gino will be demonstrating his culinary skills and doing a question and answer session with the audience to answer all your cooking queries.

To be in with a chance of winning, just answer the question below and email with your answer. Please include your full name, address and mobile telephone number in the email.

Here’s the question: Which meat is traditionally used in a Lancashire Hotpot?

A) Beef
B) Lamb
C) Pork

Entries must be received by Friday 27th April 2012 at 5pm.

Tickets for Gino’s show are available now from the Guild Hall Box Office on 0845 344 2012 or online at the Guild Hall website.

A standard ticket is £15.00 and VIP tickets are £20.00 and include the chance to meet Gino at a book signing.

The show starts at 7pm.

The Love Food, Love Preston events aim to showcase the wide range of eating establishments in the city and put the spotlight on local produce.
