Rezgar Sharif Nouri
Two men who raped a woman after a night out in the centre of Preston were jailed today for at least six years.
Rezgar Sharif Nouri (pictured left, top), 27, of Waltons Parade, Preston and Mohammed Ibrahim (pictured left, bottom), 23, of Aeroville, London, will both face a minimum of six years behind bars after they both pleaded guilty to raping a 23-year-old woman.
The woman was taken back to Nouri’s home on Walton Parade at 4am on 26th June last year and raped by the men.

The pair initially denied the offences but after police provided CCTV footage and forensic evidence both Nouri and Ibrahim changed their plea to guilty.
Det Sgt Chris McCreadie of Preston CID said: “This was an extremely traumatic incident for the victim and, although it will have an impact on her for the rest of her life, I hope that the sentencing of these two men provides some closure for her.
“The victim was provided with support from specialist officers on our rape team throughout the investigation. We are committed to providing support to victims of sexual offences and we will continue to do all we can bring offenders to justice.”
Inquiries continue to trace a third man who police want to speak to in connection with the incident.
