Preston chef Johnnie Mountain set for BBC appearance

Ashton born chef Johnnie Mountain will be appearing on a BBC cooking show.

Mountain, who now runs his own restaurant in London, The English Pig, will be on the North West heats of the Great British Menu.

The former Hutton Grammar and Tulketh High School pupil once worked with Heston Blumenthal at the Fat Duck.

He’ll be cooking up a treat the week beginning Monday 18th April.
