Preston City Council begin their shutdown for the Christmas holidays from 2pm tomorrow.
All council offices close at 2pm on Friday 23rd December and will not re-open until Tuesday 3rd January.

Bin collections
Households who have their recycling or food waste collected on a Monday or Tuesday will be affected. Leaflets have been posted to relevant households or they can view the council website for details about their collections.
All brown bin compost collections stopped on Friday 16th December and do not resume until Monday 16th January 2012.
