Here are this week’s offerings for the Preston Photo Digest, collecting the best photographs of Preston on a weekly basis.

All of these images have been compiled from the Preston Flickr Group, but if you’ve got a photograph that you think deserves to be included, get in touch at joseph(@)blogpreston.co.uk.

I’ll also be updating and including a map of Preston (you can see it at the bottom of this post) which I’ll pin all the photographs to. By the end of the year we should have a fairly extensive photo map of Preston collated from the best photographs.

First up is this shot by Tony Worrall showing a nice juxtaposition between a Subway sign and Tulketh Mill. Tony’s actually shot several photos in this vein, more of which you can see on his Flickr page.

Next is a shot of the registry office on Bow Lane in the city centre.

Finally is a lovely shot of the canal in Ashton (probably one of the last sunny days for a while!) that shows a few barges moored.
