Here are this week’s offerings for the Preston Photo Digest, collecting the best photographs of Preston on a weekly basis
All of these images have been compiled from the Preston Flickr Group, but if you’ve got a photograph that you think deserves to be inclded, get in touch at joseph(@)blogpreston.co.uk.
I’ll also be updating and including a map of Preston (you can see it at the bottom of this post) which I’ll pin all the photographs to. By the end of the year we should have a fairly extensive photo map of Preston collated from the best photographs.
First up is a great shot by Tony Worrall, a photo inside the Miller Arcade which we tweeted earlier this week but I thought too good not to repost.
This next photo is of a horsey chap in a field near Clayton Brook, south of Preston.
I’ve decided to include this last photo for two reasons; firstly because it’s a stunning photo in its own right – a shot of Preston Docks in the early morning, and secondly because it was taken on a mobile phone. I think it’s great when dramatic shots like this are taken on mobiles or cheap cameras, because it shows that anyone can get involved in photography.
