If you’re a regular reader of Blog Preston, you may have seen a few articles related to candidates standing in the forthcoming local election. The series was called Candidate Focus and was designed to tell voters a little more about candidates who were standing in their local area. A few weeks ago I sent a letter out to all 55 candidates. At the time of writing we’ve had eight responses. If any candidates would still like to get in touch my contact email is joseph(at)blogpreston(dot)co(dot)uk.

You can click on your area below and find out if candidates in your area replied to us. If they did you’ll be able to read the answers to the following questions about each candidate:

Full name?

What has made you decide to stand for election?

What are the key issues for your ward?

If you were elected, how would you keep your constituents informed?

Anything else to add?

Polling stations will be open from 7 am tomorrow and close at 10pm and you can take a look at the full list here. We’ll be providing you with up to date news and results from the election so stay tuned.
