North End face a tricky trip to Carrow Road as they come up against fifth-place Norwich City.
Phil Brown’s men will have to pick themselves up from the disappointment of losing to bitter rivals Burnley last weekend.
Brown nearly has a full squad of players to choose from, with striker Chris Brown pushing to be included after bagging a brace for the reserves midweek.
Iain Hume also featured for the second string, getting 60 minutes under his belt.
Callum Davidson will not play any part against the Canaries as he has a calf injury.
Assistant manager Brian Horton was hopeful ahead of the tie: “We’re looking for our first win, but it’s great to have some of the senior players back.”
“They’ve got a very good manager. They’re on the back of a very good run, if you look at their squad, then look at ours, we shouldn’t go there with any fear.”
“We’re playing with alot more belief, I think. We’ve got some good players here, we’re just looking for the first win to take us over the line, then a few more will follow.”
