The Fishwick Bottoms nature reserve will play host to the magical experience of the dawn chorus this Saturday 24th April and Preston’s park rangers are encouraging people to come along and enjoy the experience.

Local bird expert Jim Beattie will be on hand at the early morning event which begins at 5am at the recreation ground car park, off London Road. Traditionally, late April and early May are the best times to hear the wonderful dawn song of the city’s woodland birds. For further details or to book a free place on the event, please contact the parks services office on 01772 906471.
