The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile is taking place on Sunday 21st March, and a piece of the action is coming to Avenham and Miller Park in Preston.

You can choose to run 1, 3 or 6 miles, whichever is a challenge for you! And if you haven’t already registered you can turn up & take part on the day. However far you decide to go, all the money raised will be used to help people leading very difficult lives in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries. The Preston mile will take place in Avenham and Miller Park, leaving from the Pavilion. The 1 mile run will start at 10am, the 3 mile run at 11am, and the 6 mile run at 12pm. There is a fee of £5 for adults, £2 for under 16s, or £12 for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). The entry fee only helps to cover the cost of staging the mile event – so make sure you get sponsored to raise money and change lives.
