There’s something for all the family at The Ribble Steam Railway this Easter.

The Ribble Steam Railway on Preston’s Docklands, is running trains from Good Friday (April 2nd) to Easter Monday (April 5th) with an hourly service starting at 11am each day. Last departure is at 4pm. The Engine will be GWR 5643 on all four days. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt around the museum & workshop for the youngsters and all kids will receive an Easter Egg on the train!

Mr Ribble’s trail will be in operation where you can find out more about the railway and its engines. There is also a colouring station for the toddlers. Plus, Wilf’s American Diesel will be operating rides within the museum building.

Admission to the centre is ADULTS £5-50, CHILDREN & CONCESSIONS £3-50. FAMILY TICKET (2+2) £15-00. This includes admission to the museum, workshops and as many train rides as you like on the day. Doors open at 10-30am each day and there is a large free car park on site. This is the start of The Ribble Steam Railway‘s full 2010 season with steam trains every Sunday throughout April.
