Weekly round-up of planning application decisions in Preston, Lancashire.

Mr A Patel of 59 Powis Road, Ashton, will not be putting up a two storey extension to the side and basement of his property or adding a ground floor extension to the rear of it.

A former sound recording studio at School Street, Preston, is becoming an indoor skate park with ancillary facilities including cafe, equipment shop, youth hub, associated car parking and installation of 3 window openings to side elevation.

Mr David Kay of 195 Lytham Road, Ashton, will be adding a two storey extension to the side of his property.

The University of Central Lancashire has temporary permission to add an extra car park at 152-169 Corporation Street, freeing up an extra 70 spaces for two years.

A tree will be reduced two metres away from 56 Higher Bank Road, Fulwood, and one stem away from 58 Higher Bank Road thanks to Mr R Dent.

A tree at 12 A Bushell Place will be felled. It’s a sycamore tree.

New vehicle access will be constructed at Withy Trees Farm, Whittingham, and the old vehicle access closed.

The obstetrics and gynaecology department at Royal Preston Hospital, Fulwood, is being extended with a single storey extension, including undercroft.

Unit 27 of Campbell Street Industrial Estate is being converted from a warehouse to a training centre by London based HB Training Limited.

11 Friargate will have one externally illuminated fascia sign, one. non-illuminated projecting sign and two window vinyl signs added.

Mr Y Sidat of 279 Ribbleton Lane is adding a single storey extension to the rear of the property.

D&D Management Services will be crowning an ash and sycamore over the garages at Moorlands, Garstang Road to create 3m clearance all round.  They will also be removing a beech tree at the same property.

Mr W Davis of 21 Pedders Green will be reducing a cedar of lebanon and removing overhanging branches.

Tustin House, Red Car Industrial Estate, Longridge Road, is adding a single storey extension to the rear of the property.

520 Watling Street Road, Fulwood, will be adding a single storey extension and conservatory at the rear of the dwelling.

Miss Tracy Kilby of 53 Clifton Avenue, Ashton, will be adding a summer house to the rear of the property.

Willows Bungalow, 18 Pedders Lane, Ashton, will be removing a beach tree.

St Andrews Primary School, Tulketh Road, Ashton, will be removing a sycamore tree and a silver birch.

Mr Wilkinson of 21 Greenacres, Fulwood, is adding a conservatory to the side of the property.
