Santa DashPreston city centre will be overrun by runners in Santa outfits on Sunday 6th December 2009, all in the aid of a local hospice.

In aid of St Catherine’s Hospice, Lostock Hall, people are being encouraged to don the famous red and white outfit and complete a 5km Santa Dash through the streets of the city.

For those who can’t stomach the though of a 5km run, there’s a 0.75km Reindeer Run.

The Santa Dash will start at 12 NOON with the Reindeer Run at 11.30 AM. All ages are welcome.

The money raised will go towards helping patients and families at St Catherine’s Hospice. There is a £15 entry fee and any monies raised over this go to the Hospice. Call 01772 695 290 or visit the website for booking forms and information.

The event is sponsored by Lancashire County Council, A1 Traffic Management Ltd and McDonalds.
