Preston will be moving again as the ‘On The Move’ festival returns between September 20th and September 27th 2009.

The city centre will be alive with the sound of feet pounding the pavement as Run Preston takes place and also the City of Preston Cycling Grand Prix.

Councillor Christine Thomas, cabinet member for community services, added: “Preston on the Move is a superb addition to our events calendar and this year promises to be no exception, with some of the country’s best runners and cyclists making their way to Preston. The community aspect of the festival is an important feature this year, and we hope that the wide variety of activities available will encourage local residents to get ‘on the move’ with us.”
