Preston Sea Cadets building The Preston Sea Cadets are in the running for a new coat of paint in a national competition run by The Sun and Dulux.

The Preston organisation wants its headquarters repainted and are currently doing well in the voting.

Eric Wilson of Preston Sea Cadets said: “Thousands of youngsters have passed through here and will continue to do so. We could do with a good coat of paint to encourage more kids to get involved. Officers are staff are unpaid, they give up their free time to invest in young people, so please help.”

Two organisations can win up the visit from the Dulux Power Painters, but also for voting you could win £1,000.

To add your vote, visit www.thesun.co.uk/dulux and select the Granada region to add your vote for the Sea Cadets. Get voting and let’s make sure a Preston organisation wins. Voting lasts until Midnight on Friday 4th September 2009.
