Preston based design consultancy, Design Force Associates, has secured the contract to create a new prospectus for one of the UK’s leading independent schools.
AdvertisementManchester High School for Girls (MHSG), located in Fallowfield, (South Manchester), achieved a 100% pass rate at A level (94% A and B grades) and GCSE (86% A* and A grades) in 2008. The school educates over 900 girls.
With a new head mistress appointed in January, the school wishes to ensure that it continues to communicate effectively with future parents of the school.
Head Mistress, Mrs Claire Hewitt (pictured above), explained why Design Force, based in Ribbleton, were chosen to take up the project: “Manchester High School for Girls offers students a vibrant atmosphere and a strong sense of community. We have an excellent reputation in both academic achievement and pastoral care. All of this, coupled with a diverse range of extra-curricular activities sets our school apart and our prospectus must reflect this.
Design Force demonstrated to us that they fully recognise our requirements, and their specialist knowledge of the communication needs of the independent schools sector will prove invaluable as we continue to enhance our messaging.”
Design Force’s Simon Brindle said that the consultancy was delighted to be asked to deliver the project. “A school’s prospectus should highlight both its credentials and its ethos in a powerful and engaging way. We’re looking forward to working with Manchester High School for Girls to develop their new prospectus in the coming months.”
The new prospectus will be launched at the start of the next academic year in September 2009.
