At the Preston City Council Central Area Forum there was some good news for the children and parents of Preston. A bid to the Big Lottery Fund for £80,000 had been successful for improving the Moor Park children’s play area.

This was met with enthusiasm by the assembled public but there was also the question of when the drainage systems on Moor Park were going to be sorted out as areas of the park are often left underwater after heavy rain.
