Police have charged a man with raping a 14-year-old girl in Ribbleton. Christopher Croston, 31, from Liverpool was due to appear at Preston Magistrates Court on Thursday morning charged with rape and assault by penetration. A Preston teenager has been jailed for nine years for burglary and possessing a firearm. Duane Mason, 18, of Ambleside Road, Ribbleton, will face prison after smashing the windows of a ground floor flat in Yewtree Avenue, Ribbleton.
