The G-Fest festival, previously branded as the G-volution festival, is a sister festival to the North East dance and rock festival Evolution.
It will take place in Avenham Park as part of the Guild celebrations on Saturday 8 September 2012.
There will be 15,000 tickets released. Tickets are on sale from the Guild Hall box office, by calling 0844 345 2012 or online at the Preston Guild website. They are priced £18 if booked before 23 August and £23 after.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

The Evolution festival, which started in Newcastle in 2003, is hosted by the same group as G-volution.
The 2012 Evolution saw the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Maximo Park, Miles Kane, Rizzle Kicks, Deadmau5 and Noah and the Whale on the bill.
Where is it?
Avenham Park is right in the centre of Preston. There is limited parking nearby so it is easier to travel by public transport.
