These are the two biggest and most popular leisure centres in our city.  Both West View (located in Ribbleton) and Fulwood Leisure Centre (located in Fulwood) provide a wide range of activities and high quality service.  They are dedicated to putting customers first.  Here is a brief overview of all the services both leisure centres have to offer.

Gym

The gyms at both West View and Fulwood leisure centres have everything you need for your workout.  Once you have an induction and are a member, and regular gym user, you are entitled to a fitness membership, which gives you unlimited access to all the equipment on offer.  All the cardio vascular equipment has built in TV’s with a choice of different channels, which provides endless entertainment to your workout.  There are also the traditional work out options: a weights room and resistance machines.  Each gym provides personal trainer sessions which are available to book.

Exercise Classes

Both West View and Fulwood leisure centres offer over 150 exercise classes a week.  With classes for every interest and level of fitness, you are truly spoilt for choice.  You have to be 16 to attend any class, but there are a range of family based classes suitable for ages 12 and over.  If you enjoy a particular exercise class so much, you can sign up for a leisure membership.

Some of these classes include: ‘Body Attack’, a rapid calorie burner that increases your general endurance and body strength; ‘Fab Abs’, a popular class which targets the abdominal area to help tone your stomach; and ‘Zumba’, a class which combines Latin and International Music with dance, to make exercise social, enjoyable and fun.
