Four of the events take place which are a run and a cycle. Duathlons see a two mile run, an eight mile cycle and a two mile run - with no swimming. It's a triathlon for those who don't like swimming! "Duathlons can be any distance over any terrain, from flat short distance events to brutal long distance ultra-races over mountains and fells." The duathlons take place on Sunday 7 May, Sunday 4 June and Sunday 9 July. The two hour events are £10 and is open to 16-year-olds an over.
