Four of the events take place which are a run and a cycle. Duathlons see a two mile run, an eight mile cycle and a two mile run - with no swimming. Ed Culshaw from the triathlon club said: "To those unfamiliar with multi-sport events a duathlon is a run followed by a bike ride followed by a run. The duathlons take place on Sunday 7 May, Sunday 4 June and Sunday 9 July. The two hour events are £10 and is open to 16-year-olds an over.
