A Preston-based cocktail company will hold a launch event at the Harris featuring local artists, fashion designers, painters and photographers.
AdvertisementThe company, My Dry Ice, was recently founded by Prestonian Jodie Rigby. Based at Cotton Court, they provide dry ice equipment and training to establishments across the North West, including Glovers, Lofty’s and The Wellington.
Jodie said: “Our unique cocktails are created using dry ice equipment, which creates smoky and bubbly potions, and they are proving popular across a variety of Lancashire’s bars, restaurants and clubs. This event is designed to celebrate our success so far, and to showcase our mouth-watering products.”

Dry ice, which is also referred to as frozen carbon dioxide, has become a favourite of mixologists and chefs to create dramatic effects as shown in the video below. Jodie is using her creativity and experience in hospitality to offer innovative products and services to the market.
During the Harris event, the Ginception mobile bar will serve guests gin and Prosecco, while a saxophonist and DJ will provide the soundtrack. Complimentary drinks are available upon arrival, and a larger selection will be served at the bar throughout the night.
In addition, the event will showcase the next generation of local artists and promote their creativity.
