South Ribble Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in Leyland on Tuesday evening.
AdvertisementA 49-year-old man was taken to Royal Preston Hospital following a collision between a Mini and a Suzuki bike.
It took place at around 8.40pm in Dunkirk Lane close to the junction of Orchards.
Sergeant Lee Harris said: “Firstly my thoughts are with the motorcyclist’s family at this incredibly sad and difficult time. They are being supported by specially trained officers.
