Fulwood motorists have been warned to keep a close eye on their cars and vans after a series of break-ins.
AdvertisementPreston Police have posted a warning about an increase in car crime along the Garstang Road area of the city – running from Broadway down to St Vincents Road.
During Wednesday (20 June) and Thursday (21 June) there were a number of thefts from cars and vans.
Two cars were also stolen during the spate of incidents, with the windows of the vehicles smashed to gain access.
Police say the Plungington and Moor Nook areas were also targeted.

PC Archer said: “Please remember not to leave any items of value on display inside your vehicle, ensure that your vehicle is completely secure before leaving it unattended; even if it’s parked on the drive. If you have a works vehicle and store power tools inside the vehicle please consider removing these or investing in vehicle safe.”
