Police are continuing to appeal for help to find a missing pensioner from Penwortham.

Update: Joan was found safe and well on Monday evening. The public are thanked for their assistance.

73-year-old Joan Jones was last seen in Martinfield Road at 4.20pm on Bank Holiday Monday (7 May).

She is described as white, 5’3″ and has short grey hair.

Joan was last seen wearing a long sleeved jumper, black dress with a red pattern and had white shoes and sandals.

Anyone encountering Joan may find she appears confused.

The pensioner is very mobile and can walk long distances comfortably.
