Another chance to discover local heritage around Winckley Square has been confirmed.
AdvertisementA range of history tours have been taking place around Preston’s only Georgian square throughout the year so far.
Led by Friends of Winckley Square, the tour will help you uncover facts about the historical area that you may not have known already.

Tours are free and the meeting point is in the centre of Winckley Square Gardens at 2pm.
The latest date set for the next tour is Sunday 20 May.
Everyone is welcome to attend the talks, which will last around one hour and 15 minutes.
There is wheelchair access for the guided tours too.
You need to book online first or via email before attending.
If you have a group of friends or colleagues who would like a dedicated guided tour these can be booked in advance.
It is also possible to incorporate viewing the Inside Out Exhibition and lunch or afternoon tea in a local café.
