Preston’s former Dock House is being restored and one urban explorer was granted a look inside.
AdvertisementScrappyNW went inside what is due to become The Watermark.
The art deco offices have some superb detailing inside them and the new owners are vowing to ensure it is preserved as they turn the space into a ‘creative hub’.
At the junction of Watery Lane and Port Way the building was sold in March this year for an undisclosed sum.
It will be their third business space as they already run The Watermark in Ribbleton Lane and the Preston Enterprise Centre in Salter Street.
Speaking to Blog Preston, ScrappyNW said of this exploring: “It’s a great building and you can see they have big plans for it, but it’s great to see them ensuring the heritage is kept.”
The two-storey building is due to have 12,000 square foot of office space once renovation is complete.
