Appeal after cyclist hurt in Guildway hit and run

A cyclist was hurt following a crash on Wednesday (24 May) evening.

Preston Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident in Guildway, the A59 flyover heading towards Penwortham.

The cyclist was knocked from his bike around 11pm.

Police say the vehicle, which is unknown in terms of make and model, failed to stop at the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting log number 1732.
