An arson investigation has begun after two cars were set alight near Preston Prison.
AdvertisementLancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent one fire crew from Preston Fire Station to the scene.
The incident at 11.32pm on Tuesday (20 March) saw smoke billowing from the vehicles in a car park.
A spokesman confirmed the two cars had been set on fire deliberately.

Both vehicles were severely damaged in the fire and no one is understood to have been injured.
The incident has been passed to Preston Police for investigation. Police said two other vehicles in the car park were damaged during the incident.
