Tale of how this dog saves a Preston girl’s life each day comes to the city

Described as ‘charming, warm and heartfelt’ the tale of a life-saving dog is coming to Preston.

Pip, a five-year-old border collie, is trained to save the life of Katie, a 15-year-old girl, who has Type 1 Diabetes.

Being performed by Tin Can People the show Katie and Pipe questions how we view an invisible disability.

Charlotte Berry and Rob Gregson are the actors, while Rob’s younger sister Katie plays herself with assistance dog Pip.

It’s performed at the Media Factory at the University of Central Lancashire on Wednesday (14 March) from 7.30pm.

Tickets via the Derelict Live website are £10 (£7 for concessions, £5 for under-16s) and it is suitable for ages 10+.
