Parts of Preston city centre will be closed off on Friday for an annual Easter procession.
AdvertisementThe Procession of Witness runs through the city centre and means Lune Street and Cheapside are closed to traffic.
A section of Fishergate is also to be shut off from the junction with Lune Street to the junction with Cheapside.
The procession runs from 11.30am to 12.30pm on Friday (30 March).
The procession of witness sees a cross carried to mark Jesus’ last journey through Jerusalem.

Diversions will be in place, running via Glovers Court, Syke Street, Avenham Lane, Queen Street, London Road, Stanley Street and Ringway.
Another alternative is North Road, Tithebarn Street, Crooked Lane and then Lancaster Road.
