Homes in Tulketh , Larches and Savick targeted in burglaries

Preston homeowners across the West of the city are being urged to remain vigilant after a spate of burglaries.

Police have issued a warning for those in the Tulketh, Larches and Savick areas.

It follows two nights of a gang of burglars entering properties throughout each of these areas.

PCSO Stephen Connolly said: “Over the last couple of days we’ve had four residential burglaries.

“Each have had very similar patterns where the addresses have been targeted from rear doors and in particular CCTV at least one of the burglaries shows the burglars pointing at a cat flap on the door.”

Items taken during the burglaries have been car keys and electronic items.

Each incident has taken place between midnight and 6am.

Anyone with information is asked to call Preston Police on 101.
