Steel drums, Bollywood dance and more at Preston Markets

Entertainment has been planned for Preston Markets this Saturday.


The new market enjoyed its first weekend of trading last Saturday and also saw Morris Dancing and more take place.

Sounds of Worldwise Samba are to drift over the new Box Market under the Fish Market canopy from 11am-11.30pm.

Pantasy Steel Drum Band then pick up the rhythm at the top of Orchard Street from 11.30am to 12.15pm.

Then Bollywood dancers from MK Dance Academy strut their stuff from 12.15pm to 12.45pm – be warned, there is audience participation!

The steel drums return from 12.45pm to 1.15pm at the top of Orchard Street.

Box Market traders then see the Samba return from 1.15pm to 1.45pm and the steel drums finish the entertainment from 1.45pm to 2.30pm at the top of Orchard Street.
