Police closed lanes of the M6 near Preston due to a crash.

Up to six cars and a coach are understood to have been involved.

The crash took place around 2.20pm on Sunday (11 February).

Lancashire Police and the North West Ambulance are on the scene.

The crash is between Junction 29 and Junction 30 northbound of the motorway.

Police are warning drivers of debris in the road following the crash.

All lanes were reopened shortly before 3pm on Sunday.
