Police are appealing for witnesses after stones were thrown at buses and cars in the Broadgate area.
AdvertisementDuring Sunday night a group of children accessed the old railway line behind Nissan in Strand Road.
Stones off the line were thrown at passing vehicles – including a rail replacement bus.
It shattered one of the windows of the bus sending glass flying across its seats.
Fortunately no one was on the bus service at the time of the incident on Sunday (28 January).

The bus continued on its journey to Blackpool.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
