Witness appeal after car raided in Larches

An appeal for witnesses has been made after a theft in Larches.

Two men are reported to have smashed the window of a car during the early hours of Thursdy (21 December).

The woman, who asked not to be named, said the drivers window of a white Mercedes in Ashton Bank Way was smashed and a wallet containing bank cards and a new Barbour jacket were stolen.

Preston Police confirmed the incident and that they are looking for two men, aged in their 20s-30s.

The woman came out of her house after being disturbed by the sound of the car alarm.

One of the men was wearing a dark coloured puffer jacket, beanie hat and light grey jogging bottoms.

The men made off towards the A583 by the Audi garage at the Docks.

The victim said: “Due to the time of the incident it is possible that someone may have been up walking a dog and seen something.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting crime reference number LC-20171221-0182.
