The site of a former church in Ribbleton is to be redeveloped as affordable housing.
AdvertisementCommunity Gateway Association has lodged plans for what was the Brookfield Methodist Church.
It was demolished, in Oakworth Avenue, earlier this year and now housing plans have been brought forward.
Pozzoni Architecture have outlined how the site would take up to 13 homes.
Six three-bedroom homes and seven two-bedroom homes could be built with each three-bed home having two parking spaces and each two-bed home having one parking space.

Documents outline how a public consultation took place at the Brookhaven Community Centre in October.
Plans for the site received positive comments from councillors and nearby residents – who were keen to see something happen with the site.
A statement from Gateway said: “Community Gateway Association and Pozzoni Architecture Limited believe this is a high quality residential scheme that makes effective use of the site, and fulfils a need within the community, providing much needed housing, and enhancing the public realm with an improved green space.”
